Zanini De Zanine
Born in Rio de Janeiro in 1978, Zanini de Zanine discovered his passion for design by observing his father José Zanine Caldas’s work and through an apprenticeship with Sergio Rodrigues.
After earning a degree in Industrial Design from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, he began his career by making furniture from recycled wood with the project "Contemporary Carpentry." In 2005, he launched his first line of furniture using certified wood and materials such as plastic and metal, and in 2011, to give shape to his vision, he founded Studio Zanini.
Zanini de Zanine develops design that enhances the recovery and responsible use of materials.
His research into wood processing and the use of resources from controlled sources reflects a strong commitment to sustainability, combining aesthetics and innovation in a constant dialogue with traditional craftsmanship.
