Truly Truly is a design studio based in Dordrecht, the Netherlands, founded by Australian designers Joel and Kate Booy. Their training in the Netherlands, combined with a background in graphic design, contributes to shaping their unique design approach, active in various creative fields, including product design, lighting, furniture, textiles, spatial installations, and art direction.
Truly Truly is a manifesto: to create with honesty, care, and authenticity.
The studio designs objects for the home environment that blend functionality and sensuality, driven by the desire to question and renew the way people perceive and use things. Art thus becomes a lever to explore new languages and surpass personal and collective limits. The studio also focuses on exploring new types of furniture, questioning the relationship between form and function, always keeping the experience of the object at the centre of every project.
