Lorenzo Bini, founder of the BINOCLE studio which he has led since 2011, trained between Oslo and Milan, where he graduated from the Politecnico and began his career collaborating with various studios on projects in Milan and Rotterdam.
In 2003, he co-founded Studiometrico, an organisation active until 2011. Alongside his professional practice, he has also taught as a visiting professor at the Design Academy Eindhoven and is currently lecturing at NABA and the Politecnico di Milano.
Lorenzo Bini develops each project based on a consolidated working method, the result of accumulated experience over time, where even very different elements coexist. Each intervention originates from a confrontation with the existing space and its history, fitting into a process of transformation that respects, reinterprets, and enhances what already exists.
His practice spans architecture, staging, and design, always maintaining a sensitive and aware perspective, capable of combining rigour with expressive freedom.
